Guatemala, Huehuetenango – La Flor Del Café

Nestled high in the rugged mountains of Huehuetenango, Guatemala, La Flor Del Café is a picturesque farm renowned for producing exceptional specialty coffee. Located at elevations ranging from 1,600 to 2,000 meters above sea level, the farm enjoys a unique microclimate shaped by the cool mountain air and warm valley winds—a perfect environment for slow coffee cherry maturation and rich flavor development.

La Flor Del Café is a family-run farm ran by Oswaldo Pérez, the youngest child of Oswaldo Pérez Pérez, a pioneering first-generation coffee producer in the area where generations have cultivated coffee with care, combining traditional methods with thoughtful innovation. The volcanic soils are fertile and well-drained, and the shade-grown Arabica varieties—primarily Bourbon, Caturra, and Typica—are hand-picked at peak ripeness.

With a strong commitment to sustainability and community, the farm emphasizes ecological stewardship, water conservation, and fair labor practices. This dedication shines through in every cup, offering vibrant notes of cocoa, caramel, orange, and baking spices with a clean, sweet finish—hallmarks of the Huehuetenango region.

More than just a farm, La Flor Del Café represents the flowering spirit of Guatemalan coffee culture: rooted in heritage, nurtured by nature, and crafted with passion.
